Work Location Note:
The candidate will work remotely until all staff return to the office. Once that happens, the candidate is expected to work onsite in Raleigh, NC.
Job Description
Client is seeking functional and technical support for the Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) functions in the SAP environment, along with support for the SAP hosting services project. This environment services over 5,000 users and includes:
- ECC 6.0
- BI 7.0
- Business Objects
- CRM
- SRM
- Enterprise Portal
- Solution Manager
- GRC
- NWCE
- PI
FI/CO support includes:
- Providing guidance on aligning business processes with SAP Best Practices
- Performing functional configuration and customization
- Maintaining system integrity and integration with SAP ECC and Enterprise Portal
- Writing functional and technical specifications
- Developing test plans and conducting system testing
The system must support fiscal accountability and management for both internal and external stakeholders, including federal/state agencies.
Role Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, and maintain SAP FI/CO modules in ECC 6.0 (including AP, AR, FA, GL, SPL)
- Design, configure, test, and maintain SAP FM modules and SAP Budget functionality
- Understand integration points between FI/CO/FM and other SAP modules
- Provide production support and troubleshoot software issues
- Collaborate with users/clients to gather and document business requirements
- Analyze change impacts on internal/external applications
- Develop documentation per change control policies and procedures
